Our client is an NZ owned and operated joinery and interior fit-out company with clients across the Auckland region. They pride themselves in their high standard of workmanship and delivering bespoke and tailored solutions to clients. Due to high demand for their services they are in need of a Project Manager to join their tight knit team. This is an opportunity for a capable Project Manager to lead projects with a focus on high end fit-outs and finishes for clients across Auckland. They operate in the commercial, education, residential and retirement village sectors.
Salary and location:
A car and fuel card is provided on top of the base salary of $110-130k (dependant on experience). Experience of working in New Zealand is essential to be considered for this position.
The position will be located in Hobsonville, the company has shared office space for Auckland staff in The Hangar at Catalina Bay. The company themselves (offices and factory) are based in Northland. Travel to head office is expected perhaps once a week or less, depending on workload.
We are looking for:
· Experience in managing joinery and/or interior fit-out projects IN NEW ZEALAND either as Site Manager or Project Manager
· Trades background in carpentry, cabinetmaking or joinery
· Ability to work under pressure
· An eye of detail and design and ability to provide technical advice to on-site teams
· Ability to work independently and confident in making decisions
· Trade certifications or tertiary qualifications are a bonus
· Knowledge of project scheduling is preferred
