OneStaff’s Manawatu region is losing a valid staff member to the land of Kangaroo’s and as a result, we now require the services of a talented individual to join our friendly, successful, and supportive team as a Recruiter in our Palmerston North branch.

The core elements of this role include;

Candidate Management

  • Advertising and screening for vacant roles
  • Conducting behavioural based interviews to ensure candidates are placed into roles they will succeed in
  • Keeping in active communication with candidates while they are working to ensure they are safe and happy in their roles.

Health & Safety

  • Ensuring candidates are qualified and have the necessary training to safely complete their duties.
  • Regular check ins to ensure candidates are comfortable on site.
  • Equipping candidates with correct PPE
  • Empowering candidates to speak up should they have any questions or concerns.

Administration

  • Conducting all necessary background checks – MOJ, drug testing, references etc
  • Writing candidate profiles
  • Data entry and database management

The successful applicant will

  • Have prior administration and customer service experience.
  • Be organised and able to prioritise completing tasks.
  • Have friendly and clear phone & in person communication skills.
  • Have good initiative and the ability to problem solve.
