Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

The primary focus of this role is to oversee and manage the recruitment brand and marketing initiatives that enable us to attract great talent.  Working in partnership with our International Recruitment Centre you will design and develop marketing and campaign and ensure all brand related materials and initiatives adhere to established brand guidelines and standards to protect the brand integrity for Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora.

The aim is to enhance New Zealand's healthcare sector and promote Health New Zealand as an Employer of Choice for our domestic and international talent. This role is responsible for managing the execution of the recruitment attraction strategy.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Multiple years of experience managing creative services and developing recruitment and talent attraction campaigns, including the digital landscape, channels, and services (in the range of 8+ years) with proven success with engaging and influencing diverse groups that demonstrates capability for this leadership role, along with an understanding of the international talent market.

Ka kawea e koe | You will bring:

  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in various digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing. Knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in digital marketing relevant to the recruitment industry.
  • Recruitment Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the recruitment industry, including its challenges, trends, and target audiences. Knowledge of recruitment-specific platforms, such as job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and candidate sourcing tools.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Ability to analyse digital marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns. Proficiency in using analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Content Creation and Optimisation: Strong writing and editing skills to create engaging and persuasive content for recruitment campaigns. Ability to optimise content for search engines and social media platforms to attract and engage job seekers.
  • Employer Branding: Experience in building and promoting an employer brand to attract top talent. Knowledge of employer branding strategies and tactics to differentiate Health New Zealand as an employer of choice.
  • Candidate Experience Management: Understanding of the candidate journey and the ability to optimise the candidate experience at every touchpoint. Ability to use digital marketing tools and automation to streamline recruitment processes and enhance candidate engagement.
  • Social Media Management: Proficiency in managing social media platforms to promote job opportunities, engage with candidates, and build employer brand awareness. Knowledge of social media advertising and targeting strategies to reach specific candidate demographics.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously. Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition Specialist recruiters, and other stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate recruitment goals, strategies, and results to senior leadership and other departments.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptability: Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and recruitment. Ability to adapt to changes in the recruitment landscape and quickly implement new strategies or tools as needed.
