The Opportunity:

 

Right now, we have an exciting fixed term (12 months) opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced registered health clinician to join our Pregnancy and Parental service – He Tupua Waiora. Within this role, you will work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, including Manaaki Kakano – Maternal Infant Mental Health, as well as tangata whaiora, whanau and their local communities.

 

You will be working with parents who are pregnant and/or have child/children up to the age of three years, who present with co-existing problems involving drug(s) and alcohol, and who have a range of complex challenges that require the support of skilled clinicians both internal and external to Te Whatu Ora.

 

This role is a permanent fixed term position ending 29 January 2025 and based in Whangarei.

 

 

Requirements of the role:

 

To be successful in this role you will hold a New Zealand professional registration, a current practicing certificate and a current full driver's licence.   You will also have experience working in a whanau-centric model and have strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills.
