About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Health Clinician to join our team in a role where you can be part of making a difference. You will be working with young people presenting to the Child & Adolescent Mental Health and AoD Service and providing them with integrated assessment and treatment, taking account of psychosocial issues relevant to the development and wellbeing of children and adolescents within the context of family/whanau.
You will develop and facilitate therapeutic interventions for families and groups as needed and liaise with Hospital Health Services, community agencies and other child and youth specific organisations (e.g. Schools, G.P's, Youth Centres) to increase access to specialist care for children and youth requiring the services of mental health professionals.
The role is part of Te Roopu Kimiora, Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Service. This supportive multi-disciplinary team actively promotes recovery focused care and are seeking an autonomous practitioner, who is keen to innovate and participate in service development to join us.
This is a permanent fulltime role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
