The Haematology Service has an established dynamic and growing haematology department based at North Shore Hospital. Clinical areas include malignant haematology, a large acute thrombosis service as well as general haematology. We have an active research department with studies in both malignant haematology and thrombosis.

We are looking for a registered nurse that enjoys working in a challenging specialty area and have strong clinical skills. Ideally you will be a haematology nurse with experience in administering chemotherapy but this is not essential as we are also open to applicants with a strong interest in working in this field. Ideally you would also have excellent cannulation and phlebotomy skills. You will have a reputation of a positive and dynamic approach and are well organised, flexible and able to manage the demands of competing priorities in a busy clinical environment.

You will have a key role in the delivery of patient care for Haematology Day Stay. Providing service excellence to our patients is essential, we currently deliver care to both Haematology and non-Haematology patient groups.

We are looking for someone that is focused, have excellent communication skills, motivated and have experience being a member of a team working collaboratively to facilitate and co-ordinate care that achieves health outcomes.
