Location: Wairau Hospital Blenheim

Tenure:  Permanent 0.6FTE working 48 hours a fortnight

Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

Our busy and well-equipped HDU/AAU is closely co-located with our Emergency Department at Wairau Hospital. We provide a supportive and nurturing workplace to assist staff to meet the challenges of this diverse area, at the frontline of the acute health care service. 

Acute care nursing uses all your skills and provides daily learning opportunities. We focus on excellent, quality care and are committed to improving the experience of patients and their whanau.

Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)

You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and post-registration nursing experience in emergency or critical care. You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
