Come and join our supportive, dynamic and flexible nursing team working together to provide quality care to all patients within the Midland region. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your nursing skills within a supportive environment. ICU is a 16 bed acute and elective unit that provides a stimulating and challenging environment in which to develop or enhance your nursing skills. If you think this position is a good fit for you and you would be a good fit for our department, we would love to hear from you.

The Critical Care Department comprises of a 12 bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) and a 16 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). HDU cares for both elective and acute patients. The unit is state of the art, and provides an excellent opportunity to work in a progressive and motivated environment with the latest technology. We are at the centre of a regional referral network across the middle of the North Island, with all the related trauma and air retrieval activities that go along with that. The medical and nursing teams are supportive, dynamic and flexible, working together to provide quality care to all patients within the Midland region.
