Right now, we - re looking for Registered Nurses with experience behind
them to become part of Operating Theatre team at Timaru Hospital. The hospital
provides secondary services to the district population of approximately 50,000 people,
has 130 beds, and is undergoing a significant refurbishment programme. The service provides critical 24/7 services
including, ED, ICU/CCU, General, Orthopaedic, ENT Surgery, O&G,
Psychiatry, Health of Older People, Oncology & Palliative Care, Internal
Medicine, Paediatrics and Dental.
The four theatres including a new purpose-built endoscopy suite operate
Monday to Friday and is staffed by an on-call roster after hours. It is a
supportive environment and dedicated
multidisciplinary team.
