Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Permanent full time and part time positions available, rostered and rotating shifts.

We are currently looking for qualified Registered Nurses to join the Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit in Te Puna Waiora.

This role will work rostered shifts within the unit covering morning, afternoon and nights including weekends and public holidays as required.

Moū - About you

Suitable candidates must have:

  • Acute mental health inpatient experience
  • Well established mental state and risk assessment skills and
  • Experience using talking therapy techniques and proven de-escalation skills is essential.

Successful candidates must have a current and valid Annual Practising Certificate with NZ Nursing Council and a current Drivers licence.
