Permanent part time positions available from 0.5FTE up to 0.9FTE (40 hours up to 72 hours a fortnight)

You will never have an uneventful day in the Nelson Hospital Emergency Department! 

ED nursing uses all your skills and provides daily learning opportunities, with around 28,000 patient presentations per annum across the lifespan. We focus on excellent, quality care and are committed to improving the experience of patients and their whanau.

You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and post-registration nursing experience in ED or acute care. You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.

The full-time equivalent salary for a NZ Registered Nurse is $81,683 to $106,739 (effective from 1 April 2024) based on the current NZNO Collective Agreement, dependent on NZ registration and experience.
