My client is an established leading, family owned, values-based trades company working across Roofing, Plumbing, Gas Fitting and Drainlaying to both the local and national commercial and residential markets. With a reputation for providing professional roofing solutions to the local market for many decades they have worked on some of the largest and technically complex roofing projects in the country! Due to continues growth and to support an internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Roofing Manager based in Heretaunga Hastings. On offer to the successful applicant is a salary of $100 K - $120 K + Vehicle + benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Delivery: Oversee end-to-end roofing projects, ensuring accurate scheduling, timely delivery, quality workmanship and adherence to H&S standards.
Operational Leadership: Lead of team of 15 skilled professionals and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, safety and integrity.
Team Development: Provide mentoring, training, and support to your team, contributing to professional growth and continuous learning.
IT Systems: Utilize modern PM software to schedule work, enhance efficiency and produce accurate project reporting.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Roofer or PM with significant experience of the NZ construction industry
- Proven leadership/management experience with a track record of successful delivery and ability to inspire your team
- Developed IT acumen, including working knowledge of PM software such as MS Project or similar
- Proficient working knowledge of the NZ Building Code, safety regulations and industry standards
- Process driven and organised with an understanding of lead times and potential lags on large, complex roofing projects
