About the opportunity:
Our client, a nationwide provider of water treatment products, is seeking a Sales & Branch lead to work in their small Dunedin branch. Candidates will join a team with a mission to deliver purified water, promoting healthier lives. This role could suit someone who has sales or estimating/ pricing experience with a mechanical or electrical trade related product. It could also suit other sales experienced individuals with a desire to work in the sector. You will need strong communication skills, a positive attitude and accuracy with numbers for pricing.
Role description:
The Sales & Branch Lead role involves leading our clients small South Island operation and team, with responsibilities including the management of sales channels, customer relationships, and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of South Island sales channels and customer relationships.
- Oversight of warehouse operations, encompassing stock movements and assembly.
- Provision of technical product information and support.
- Quoting jobs based on water test analyses.
- Active participation in business development endeavors.
This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities:
- Possesses strong communication skills and maintains a positive attitude.
- Experience in water treatment products (considered advantageous).
- Other relevant technical sales experience (deemed useful).
- Mechanical skills/background (viewed as advantageous).
- Computer literacy and accuracy with numbers for scoping and pricing of products.
