Job Description:
As a Sales Representative, you will be an essential member of the team, responsible for creating a memorable shopping experience for customers. Your primary goal will be to understand customers' needs, provide expert guidance, and recommend the most suitable outdoor power equipment to fulfill their requirements. You will work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and build strong, lasting relationships with both new and existing customers. You will be required to work Monday to Friday with the ability to work weekends when required.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers, listen to their needs, and offer tailored solutions that align with their projects.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest outdoor power equipment trends, features, and specifications to offer well-informed advice to customers.
- Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the features and benefits of various equipment to assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales targets through effective communication, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional after-sales support, handle inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Store Maintenance: Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and store upkeep to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with colleagues to foster a positive and motivating work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the outdoor power equipment industry, is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong passion for outdoor power equipment and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to learn quickly and stay informed about the latest products and industry trends.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and results-driven with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Computer skills to process sales transactions and utilize online resources.
