Te Haeata/The Opportunity

Looking to put your senior communications skills to great use in a varied role supporting significant digital transformation programme?

As the Senior Advisor, Engagement, you will be responsible delivering our communication and engagement strategy to our people, our internal and external stakeholders and the Judiciary, to increase the understanding of Te Au Reka programme of work across all impacted areas. You will be able to develop effective content and materials through various channels and methods while monitoring and analysing the impacts of engagement to ensure our continuous improvement in this space.

You will be using your skills and experience to think dynamically while you are building connections across Te Au Reka, as well as using them to influence our focus in the appropriate directions. People focus and connection is a huge aspect to how this role will exist and engage and communicate within our Change and Process space.

You will apply your broad knowledge significant communication experience to support your team and contribute to the success of the Te Au Reka Programme.

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • The ability to establish, maintain and influence a range of effective internal and external business relationships and networks.
  • Significant experience at a senior level, across a range of the communications disciplines
  • Excellent risk and issue management experience
  • Experience in a project environment, supporting projects with multiple workstreams and competing
  • An understanding of the machinery of government, and experience navigating a large or complex public sector agency
  • Experience of matrix management and working collaboratively

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $97,208 and $135,539 based on skills and experience.
