Te tūranga - The role

We're on the lookout for a Senior Change Enablement Manager to join our Change team and support the critical Information Management upgrade project. This project supports us to achieve our vision of Great Team, Best Central Bank - Matangirua ki Matangireia, by supporting an uplift of RBNZ's enterprise information management technology capability and supporting our people to embrace modern tools to support frictionless collaboration across our mahi.

As our Senior Change Enablement Manager, you'll be an integral part of the Bank's Change team and will provide strategic and operational change advice and support. The Change team has a mandate to shape organisational change strategy and methodology at the highest level, and to support projects and initiatives across our Groups.

The Information Management Uplift project is gearing up to start implementation and requires a Senior Change Enablement Manager to hit the ground running. This role has a big focus on building robust relationships with internal stakeholders. There is a change strategy in draft that you will further develop and implement to ensure that our people have the energy, skills and ability to embrace and adopt this change that will lead to increased productivity and collaboration, empowering staff with fit for purpose tools, while decreasing information management risk. This is a fixed term position based in Wellington until 30 June 2025.

Ō pūkenga - About you
You'll bring:

  • Significant proven experience in successfully delivering organisational change initiatives (ideally focused on changing behaviours and uplifting maturity).
  • Expertise and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Expertise in identifying and analysing the potential impacts of the uplift on culture, behaviours, processes, systems, and people within the organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of learning principles and experience in developing learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Communications team to implement a communication plan that addresses key messages, communication channels, and timing to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Ability to collaborate and motivate cross-functional teams and to ensure alignment with the overall change strategy.
