About the role
Reporting to the CFO, and playing business partner to CXO and senior leaders in the organisation, you will be responsible for providing commercial expertise in managing costs and making informed decisions across the business to aid business performance.
  
Key Responsibilities:
Management:

  • Manage and coordinate the financial management of Corporate services EBITDA and capital spend.
  • Identify gaps and risks and drive initiatives to address them.
  • Review and approve Corporate Services business cases.
  • Provide analysis of financial results and explanation of variances/issues.
Performance:
  • Lead and drive effective preparation and presentation of financial EBITDA and CAPEX budget and forecasts.
  • Ensure EBITDA financial targets are achieved through effective management of business performance initiatives.
  • Monitor CAPEX programs, ensuring spend is on track and benefits are delivered.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives for financial processes.
Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and provide meaningful comparison analysis to forecasts and budget.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on regular focus areas or specific investigations.
Advice and Insight:
  • Engage with the business to provide financial analysis, models, and advice to optimise performance.
  • Provide decision support advice on CAPEX programs and assist in capital budget formulation.
About You:
You will ideally hold a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA) and have operated in a large corporate in a finance business partnering capacity. You’ll have a track record of improving business performance and your stakeholder management will be one of your strengths. After all, you’ll be partnering with senior executives and you need to be confident in presenting, challenging thinking and at times pushing back
