Senior HR Advisor confident in Employment Relations needed to hit the ground running, partner and advise managers in Education Sector.

About the Company

A large-scale, unionised business, with central office and many branches.  Despite their size, they have a friendly and inclusive culture – one of the many reasons they were voted most attractive employer in their sector. They are going through significant change and need a Senior HR Advisor or Junior HR Business Partner who is experienced managing ER cases end to end. 
 
Role

  • HR processes and projects and employment relations.  
  • Building relationships and trust easily with key stakeholders.
  • Confident coaching, guiding and supporting inexperienced managers with HR advice and improving behaviour and performance, handling disciplinaries etc.
  • Highly competent managing complex employment relations processes end to end, ideally in a unionised environment.

About you. You’re:
  • An experienced HR generalist who enjoys partnering with key stakeholders.
  • A natural coach, comfortable guiding and training managers on HR processes.
  • Confident with Employment Relations you enjoy leading performance improvement, disciplinary procedures, restructures etc. end to end.
  • Have sound understanding of NZ employment legislation.
  • Available immediately! 3 month minimum contract, possibly to be extended further.
  • Have the right to work in NZ and have working knowledge of NZ employment legislation.
  • Comfortable with detailed police vetting.
