About the client:
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company embarking on new business initiatives and projects. To support their growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a contractual basis. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, contribute to our success, and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

About the role:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new business ventures and projects, reporting directly to the Programme Manager.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, including operational application development and CCTV implementation, with a focus on financial systems, booking platforms, and asset management.
  • Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets effectively, ensuring adherence to project objectives and constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Transition between waterfall and agile methodologies as required, ensuring alignment with project goals and architectural standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Utilize expertise in agile/scrum methodologies to drive project success.
  • Apply financial management skills to monitor project budgets and expenses.
  • Demonstrate generic Project Management skills to facilitate communication and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidates background:
  • Experience with application development and infrastructure projects is a must.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a background in technology-focused environments.
  • Successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in both waterfall and agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
