The Company:
An International Engineering consulting firm that provides a range of services that recently branched out into Structural Engineering here in New Zealand. With an established team already in Auckland of up to 10 Structural Engineers and Drafters working on a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, airports, and sports arenas. They prioritize sustainable design and have been involved in several green building initiatives.
The role:
Having opened their Structural division 3 years ago the business has ambitious growth plans and is looking for a CPEng Structural Engineer to establish their Wellington branch. You will be required to get the hands dirty designing yourself, although as the team grows this can diminish. Business development will be key to your role (ideally you will come with contacts in the market). Long term you will look to build a team around you of Structural Engineers and Drafters to deliver on commercial, industrial, residential and aged care projects.

You:
- Experienced CPEng Structural Engineer
- A proven track record of designing complex buildings in NZ
- Approx 7 years of experience
- A strong communicator
- Some experience mentoring or managing younger Engineers / Technicians would be favoured
