Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor, you'll be at the helm of our clients department's operations, ensuring seamless coordination between receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities. With multiple shift times available, flexibility is paramount. The shift times that are available are:

AM Shift Supervisor (Monday to Friday, 5am to 1pm)
Night Shift Supervisor (6pm to 6am - four on, four off)
Day Shift Supervisor (6am to 6pm - four on, four off)

You must be available to begin work right away and be eligible to work in New Zealand (citizen or open work visa).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the department
• Manage work schedules and absence expectations
• Issue written and verbal instructions to the team
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures
• Train, mentor, and provide ongoing guidance to team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to streamline processes
• Maintain accurate inventory records

Requirements:

• Experience in Warehouse Systems and Warehouse Supervision
• Familiarity with MPI requirements for primary industries
• Ability to lead, direct, and motivate a diverse team
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, and shipping procedures
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
