We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee a shipping and logistics team based in the Ruakura Superhub. About the role:
Come join the team at a newly built transportation Centre based at the Ruakura Superhub. Shift/Hours are four days on and fours day off from 0600-1800 or four night on four nights off from 1800-0600. This is a rotational shift, you MUST be flexible working occasional weekends. Payrate: $40.00 per hour, immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum two years of experience in transportation operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Follow all site safety rules and requirements to a high standard.
- Work with Inventory Lead to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy possible across all product/pallets.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Lead and motivate Cold store team members.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Oversea a team of up to 15 counterbalance/reach truck drivers and general labourers.
Candidates should possess:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations.
- Thorough understanding of transportation regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems.
- X2 professional references.
- Pass a pre-employment drug.
- Pass a pre-employment MOJ criminal convictions check.
