Social Worker - Super Advocate

Family Focus Rotorua is a not-for-profit organisation who are here to make a difference for individuals and families/whanau who are experiencing family violence or who are in difficult circumstances.

They are looking for someone who shares their vision and can work closely with individuals and their whānau to reduce family violence. 

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Have at least 2 years experience as a Social Worker in NZ
• Are registered with the NZ Social Work Registration Board (SWRB) 
• An understanding of the dynamics of family violence 
• Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and trauma-informed approaches
• Cultural/ethnic sensitivity and awareness of Te Tiriti O Waitangi principles 
• A commitment to championing the prevention of family violence in our community.
