Te tūranga - The role
As a Solution Architect you will design solutions that deliver business outcomes, ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture and the Bank's frameworks and practices. You will be involved in a pipeline of work that delivers on a defined roadmap during an exciting phase of transformation.

Our solution architects play a key role in enabling change through providing advice and guidance across our agile delivery squads and to our Digital Solutions & Security leadership team.

You would join a strong team of skilled and experienced people who are creative, collaborative, committed to growing each other's knowledge, and passionate about creating great digital experiences.

Ō pūkenga - About you
You'll have proven experience in solution architecture, exposure to a wide range of technologies, can think outside the box, and can effectively present complex ideas to a wide variety of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you'll also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/5 years' experience as a Solution Architect
  • knowledge and experience with architecture modelling methodologies
  • knowledge and understanding of security architecture and NZISM
  • experience implementing cloud-based services - Azure, Microsoft365, and SaaS products
  • experience with large scale data initiatives (cloud and on prem)
  • excellent relationship management skills and the ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • experience managing the delivery of quality solution architecture
  • an interest in new and emerging technologies
  • effective communication skills
