Responsibilities.
- Provide leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to engineering teams.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a friendly and cooperative work environment.
- Undertake engineering tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, ensuring they meet or exceed customer needs.
- Lead proposals and tenders, review deliverables from team members and third-party companies.
- Monitor project progress, taking remedial action as needed to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Drive cost-effective solutions and identify potential risks, developing control strategies.
- Manage engineering teams on specific projects, maintaining relationships with contractors and clients.
- Identify and implement innovative ways to enhance safety, speed, and efficiency across the business.
- Take responsibility for promoting a strong workplace health, safety, and environmental culture.
What do you bring to the table
- Min 10yrs experience – preferably some experience within a consultancy environment
- Mechanical degree qualified
- Experience in leading a team – coaching/mentoring
