Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

We are looking for a telephone operator, to work 3.00 PM to 11.00 PM on a rotating roster.

Shifts will be rostered: 5 shifts on, 10 shifts off working across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

This position would appeal to someone who enjoys a challenge and looks for job satisfaction. Key duties include answering the phone, after-hours reception duties, interacting with the public and dealing with emergency situations.

To succeed in this busy role, you will have a bright, friendly and outgoing personality with great interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus. You will be highly organised and efficient with the ability to multitask and handle pressure.

We expect intermediate computer skills, ideally with PC based switchboard experience. However, we will consider applications from those without switchboard experience, where an aptitude for this type of work can be demonstrated, as full training will be given.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
