Busy recycled material yard looking for Yard Hand to fit into their small team based in Wigram.
Our client is seeking a dedicated Yard Hand for their thriving recycled materials business.
You will be assisting in de-nailing, organising, and moving heavy materials around the yard.
Support the small team in measuring and assessing materials for sale while keeping the yard looking presentable.
Embrace training opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the company.
Occasionally you might need to help the salvage crew visit construction sites to identify and salvage recyclable materials such as doors, windows, fixtures, and other building components.
What you look like:
• A valid Full Class 1 drivers license
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• High level of measuring skills
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
• Must pass a drug test
This is a long term role so only New Zealand residents will be considered.
