Our client is a prominent vegetation management company that specializes in providing services such as tree trimming, line clearance, and vegetation control for utility and energy companies, helping to ensure the reliability and safety of power distribution systems. 
  
At present, we are looking for a Utility Arborist with expertise in tree care, safety protocols, and the ability to work around power lines to maintain vegetation. 
  
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: 

• Tree Felling & Pruning of Large Trees & Hedges 
• Climbing Trees Using Ropes 
• Operating Cherry Pickers 
• Some Heavy Lifting Required 

The ideal candidate should hold an NZQA arborist qualification at level 3 or 4, must have a full class 1 driver's license minimum (class 4 or 5 preferred), and prior experience in arboriculture is an advantage. Essential qualifications include proficiency with chainsaws, pole saws, and brushwood chippers, along with a current first-aid certificate. Open to NZ Citizens / Residents and with Open working visas.
