Vegetation Control & Roadside Maintenance Workers

Our client is well loved within the Waikato region, providing a range of services, including vegetation control solutions, tree trimming and removal, traffic management and more!

They’re looking to bring on someone to work in vegetation control and roadside maintenance workers to join their team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Weed Spraying and Vegetation Control
• Tree trimming
• Pilot driving

WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?

• Starting rate of $26 an hour pending exp.
• Ongoing full time work (our client values long-term staff)
• Great hours 40-60 per week

WHAT YOU NEED? As you can see, this is a varied role that will keep you on your feet! Meaning we are on the lookout for someone who has a desire to learn and grow in new skill sets! A love of working outdoors

• Previous experience working with horticulture (parks, grounds work etc)
• Either be skilled in or want to upskill in environmental labouring (spraying, mowing, machinery operation)
• Excellent verbal communication skills, and a well-presented worker who takes pride in yourself and your work
• A valid driver’s licence (full preferred, but if you’re on your restricted, have a chat to us!) with skills to operate a manual vehicle
• Traffic Control (TC) or STMS card is a bonus, but not essential
