Job Description

We are looking for a temporary Warehouse Manager for a food store in Auckland!

This is a 3-4 month assignment, potentially longer for the right candidate.

Monday Friday, with occasional weekends
Pay rate is $30-35 an hour + 8% holiday pay
Starting time between 7-8am

What the role includes:

  • You will be supervising up to 40 employees
  • Ensure department quality targets are met in order for the Chefs to attain and maintain contractual, legal and company standards
  • Provide empowering and effective leadership that results in the development of a motivated workforce
  • Ensure that all of the team's tasks are managed efficiently, effectively and within budget levels
  • Manage health and safety standards and procedures, ensuring standards are met at all times
  • Making sure that all of the department tasks are carried out efficiently

About you:

  • Have a good understanding of food stores and SAP (Systems Applications and Products)
  • Works well in a team based environment, offers assistance as necessary and able to resolve issues that arise
  • Complies with regulations and processes
  • Practices good time management, can prioritise and multi task
  • Open to new ideas, approaches and feedback, challenging the status quo, look for improvements
  • Seeks feedback from all levels on how to improve their work and advance their knowledge
  • Develops team members skills and competencies, recognising achievements, give constructive feedback
  • Resolves conflict quickly and decisively
