About the role

 

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are seeking a Kairuruku Wahimahi | Workplace Coordinator to join the Ratonga Rangatōpū| Corporate Services Group. This is a permanent position and will be located in our Queenstown Station.  You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support for the Authority and will have a strong focus on providing an exceptional workplace experience for our people. 

 

The salary band for this position goes from $56,658 to $78,340 with the mid-range being $69,048. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader Authority for the same or similar roles.

 

What we’re looking for

 

You will have well-developed interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with a wide variety of internal and external customers in a confident and customer-oriented manner. You will be highly motivated, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and excellent decision-making skills to handle change and re-prioritise work. You will also bring:

 

  • Expertise with support service administration processes and experience coordinating workplaces, along with facilities management;
  • Core Microsoft suite and email skills to at least an intermediate level of document preparation and data entry;
  • Extensive experience in support services in a large organisation and/or previous experience in a corporate reception and/or administration role;
  • A focus on quality and systems;
  • Excellent networking skills with the ability to build relationships across organisational boundaries, and within the industry and the team
