Brazier Scaffolding is one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned scaffolding companies. With their Head Office based in Invercargill they have branches in Wanaka, Dunedin and Queenstown and are proud employers of 100 plus personal. Due to their size, their capabilities can range from large scale commercial projects through to multiple residential and industrial projects also.

The role

Based in Invercargill this role is a full-time position and entails the general maintenance and upkeep of the Brazier premise’s along with ensuring the smooth running of the yard, maintaining accurate levels of stock coming and going from the branch, customer service and cleanliness of the fleet amongst many other day to day general duties. This is largely an autonomous role with plenty of variety. Due to the nature of the business this position is physical and hands-on. 

Days and Hours

This position is a full-time role and is intended to move into a permanent position. Normal hours are Monday to Friday 6.30am to 5pm, however the start time could be flexible with a 7am start time. Saturday morning work is on offer for those keen to make a few more dollars.

About you

This position would suit a practical person, who enjoys being hands on, is not shy to get in and get their hands dirty and  is able to prioritize and plan their day. As this role involves dealing with the public and assisting with the hiring of equipment, you will enjoy dealing with people and have a reasonably strong level of oral and written ability.  You will hold a minimum of a full Class 1 drivers license, an Forklift license and a Class 2 would be advantageous but not essential.
